Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are engaged in a power struggle over the venue for their divorce procedures.

The "Game of Thrones" alum wants the lawsuit to be heard in England because that is where she wants to raise their kids, Willa and Delphine, while the Jonas Brothers band member is seeking to have it heard in the US.

Following a hearing in Miami on Wednesday, the court said it would reserve making a definitive parenting decision until Turner's case in New York.

which she filed last week alleging Jonas had withheld their children's passports has made a decision regarding whether the case should be heard in Florida or the UK.

Regardless of the timeline and resolution of the New York case, the Miami judge decided it would still hold a hearing the week of December 11 regarding the "Dark Phoenix" actress's request for dismissal.

The "Dancing Feet" singer, however, has an advantage over the UK courts because he served Turner with divorce papers first and filed for divorce before Turner.

Page Six contacted the attorneys for Jonas and Turner for comment, but they did not respond.

In response to Turner's shocking lawsuit from last week, in which she also asserted that she learned of her divorce "through the media," she and Jonas decided that the children would stay in New York for the time being.

She appeared stunning, and everyone had nothing but positive things to say about her. Additionally, the day was wonderful for Chiefs supporters of course.
