Complex Jets route led to Trevor Siemian signing

Gray Frame Corner

Joey Lucchesi spoke to media following his successful start on Wednesday.

that on Tuesday night, his Uber was involved in a collision after leaving Citi Field.

In the first game of a doubleheader, the Mets defeated the Marlins 11-2, and Lucchesi, who pitched six innings and allowed two runs, stated he is "all right" but had some back pain.

The Mets lost the nightcap 4-2.

Lucchesi told reporters, "The police were chasing this stranger, and the guy slammed into our car."

"Totally messed up the left side of the Uber; fortunately, I was on the right side. It wasn't a particularly violent crash.

Although Tylor Megill was a witness to the collision and was able to transport Lucchesi and his family back to their hotel, Lucchesi claimed that the automobile was no longer capable of being driven.

After not even having practiced as the starter, something happened.
