Even the NFL has fully embraced the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift moment.
The league updated its Instagram account to "chiefs are 2-0 as swifties," and according to The Washington Post, it also briefly used "NFL (Taylor's Version)" as its bio on X, formerly known as Twitter.
But at around noon, the account quickly deleted the line from Instagram, leaving just a blank spot in its place.
Taylor Swift was there at the Chiefs' 23-20 victory over the Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday
the NFL account tweeted that "The @Chiefs are now 2-0 with @TaylorSwift13 in attendance," tagging the Next Gen Stats account in the process.
And after a close game with some questionable calls in the fourth quarter, including a holding penalty on Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner that later led to head coach Robert Saleh being flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct
some fans on social media felt that those edits in support of Swift were unnecessary.
