USC vs. Colorado prediction: College football picks, odds, best bets

Gray Frame Corner

In Eugene, the Oregon Ducks bullied the Buffs en route to a 42-6 victory. On prime time television, the enormous roster gaps for the Buffaloes were made public.

During those 60 minutes, Coach Prime and the country should have come to terms with the realities of the situation.

There are too many holes to fill, and the Buffs are not a top-25 squad.

Boulder is rebuilding. Despite being early, the Buffaloes haven't reached the end of the Eisenhower-Johnson Tunnel.

The Buffaloes will play home to No. 8 USC and reigning Heisman winner Caleb Williams in Week 5.

Since Travis Hunter is still out injured, it's difficult to imagine Colorado preventing USC from scoring at will.

However, USC's defense is significantly poorer than Oregon's, and I believe Sheduer Sanders' aerial offense will be successful against the Trojans.

After Colorado's error last week, public funds are flooding into USC, but I'm betting the Buffs have the means to keep this game within three points.
